Australia’s Top End is a cultural adventurer’s delight​

The Top End of Australia is a vast area, with much of the land being remote and inaccessible. However, what is accessible is filled with jagged peaks of towering escarpments, national parks filled with beautifully clear pools fringed with cycads, pandanus and paperbarks trees, plentiful animals and a deeply rich culture underlying life in the Top End.

Adventure and culture are the key experiences to be discovered in the Top End, from partaking in a multi-day adventure exploring some of the most remote locations in the Top End, to lazing by a plunge pool surrounded by buffalos, wallaby’s and all manner of wildlife in a Safari-style camp.

The Top End region of Australia experiences two distinct seasons of weather.

From May to October the Dry Season is in effect. This is where warm, sunny days are abundant and the weather is perfect. Average daily temperatures sit between 21.6 – 31.8°C (70.9 – 89.2°F).

From November to April is when the Wet Season takes over. Monsoonal rain create an incredibly vibrant and lush landscape, with the daily temperature averaging from 24.7 – 32 °C (76.5 – 89.6°F). Tropical cyclones and high humidity are common in the region during this time.
